Mark Webber clinched his second win in so many races as he led from the front at the Monaco Grand Prix. His teammate, Sebastian Vettel, was second while Robert Kubica finished third on Sunday.
Webber is now tied first along with Sebastian Vettel on top of the table with 78 points from 6 races.
Alonso (Ferrari) started the race in 24th position drove an incredible race to finish sixth. He is third on the table with 75 points followed by Jenson Button (McLaren) on 70 points and Massa (Ferrari) 61.
To be perfectly frank the race was boring from halfway through, only the first couple laps provided some excitement like Vettel passing Kubica in turn one.
The starts big losers were Rosberg (down eight) and Button (down to P11.) The biggest winner was Barrichello who got himself all the way up to P6.
However, it was a mixed start for Williams, as on the very first lap we got our first saftey car when Hulkenberg suffered a mechanical malfunction and smashed into the barriers at the exit of the tunnel. Later poor old Rubens suffered a left rear failure and smashed into the barriers. He was so angry he threw is (expensive) steering wheel into the road where another car drove over it.
From there on Webber dominated the race by leading every lap of the Monaco Grand Prix to score his first win on the famous streets. He also won in last Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix.
Five laps from the end an over ambitious Trulli crashed into smashed into Chanhok at one of the final corners and the safety car was deployed yet again.
This effectively brought the race to an end with only other development was a really cheeky move from “Mr Cheat” himself, Micheal Schumacher, he slotted past Alonso after the safety car had returned to the pits on the very last lap.
The incident was reviewd by the stewards after the race and Michael Schumacher received a 20 second penalty, thus dropping him from 6th to 12th in the Monaco Grand Prix.
